-----
When Sourcebooks contacted me about reviewing a copy of The Secret Me Book, by Rachel Kempster and Meg Leder, I jumped at the chance! I've always been a fan of interactive journals and it just so happened to come at a time when I was doing a bit of soul searching.
Little did I know I would fall head over heels in love with this little book. The charming and incredibly introspective prompts gave me an opportunity to think about...well...ME. It was done in a way that proved to be way too much fun, as well as hilariously entertaining, so I only had to grab a pen and head straight for the couch with this book.
If you ever get excited at the thought of interactive books and/or journaling (like me), then this book is for you. Kempster and Leder pose questions you may have never thought about, as well as prompts that help you reflect on who you are. You'll jot down goals, dreams, likes, dislikes, soul songs, talents, friends and fears. And trust that that's only the beginning...
Not to mention it's the perfect present for a partner, family member, friend, or other loved one. Hey, you can even give it to your enemies so that it serves as a constant reminder of how incredibly awesome you are...and how they can NEVER be like you.
Too much?

Too much?
In all seriousness though, this book is the perfect opportunity to discover the secret you. Better yet, the REAL you. I honestly can't recommend it enough as I've really enjoyed the introspective journey. Filling out the pages is only the beginning...this is a book that will help you reflect long after you've put it down. And I absolutely LOVE that.
So let's spread that love, right?
