Blogspiration (17): Life Lessons on Fate

Blogspiration is a new weekly meme hosted by GrowingUpYA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video  is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation or just a little SOMETHING.

Today I'm getting a little personal as this weekend provided an assortment of mini life-lessons. We begin...

and of course, as if things couldn't get any weirder, this happens!

Now I've never seen Casablanca, but the bit pictured above has just become the story of my life. Give or take a few minor details.

Luckily, I've very recently come to realize that...

Needless to say, FATE played a rather large role in my life this weekend. I'm officially a believer as last week's blogspiration post came back to haunt me in the most insanely cosmic way. EVER.  I won't rehash the details (unless you really want me to) but long story short...the world is MICROSCOPICALLY tiny.

And if you DON'T think there's such a thing as fate, destiny, or being at the right place at the right time...I laugh at you. Silly muggles.

Happy Sunday!!

  2. I totally agree! I am a very firm believer that everything happens for a reason. It's what I always remind myself of when stuff goes wrong and it's exciting to wonder what could come from it. Life isn't meant to be depressing, it's meant to be an experience.

And oh my gosh Heather, your comment that everything happens for a reason was EXACTLY what I was musing upon (and writing notes, no less) about two-and-a-half hours ago. Talk about timing.

  8. I totally believe in Fate and she can be a real B! Your Casablanca picture, sorta - KINDA - happened to me once. There was this guy, and it's a bit of a long story, but I wandered into his shop and was looking at something and heard his voice and thought, "NOOOOO. It cannot be HIM."
    It was.

So, was yours an old stranger or a new enemy? LOL
