Ele-Elemental, Ele-Elemental

Synopsis (Goodreads): As an air Elemental, 17-year-old Emily Morgan doesn’t have much power. That’s okay—she knows what happens to kids who do.

Like Michael Merrick. He’s an earth Elemental, one with enough power to level cities. Which makes him sexy. Dangerous. And completely off limits. At least according to Emily’s family.

But her summer job puts her in close contact with Michael, and neither of them can help the attraction they feel. When forces of nature like theirs collide, one misstep could get someone killed. Because Emily’s family doesn’t just want her to stay away from him.

They want him dead.

Because I am on a Brigid Kemmerer high and I am this close to starting SPARK, Book 2 in the Elementals Series, I figured I would review her novella, Elemental.

*Cue earthquake?*

Now I was a big fan of Michael going into this book. I admit I had certain expectations and despite the brief background info given in STORM, I found myself quite pleasantly surprised. Despite how short this e-book seemed to be (I WANT MORE, BRIGID!!!!), it was still quite gripping and addictive!  It was awesome seeing Michael be...uh...just a tad less moody than usual. His chemistry with Emily was electric and I loved seeing their friendship develop. Um...sexual tension anyone??

While I can't say too much without giving the story away, know that there's a reason why Michael is so careful and distanced from the rest of his brothers. It's a pretty huge reason and I trust that you guys will purchase Elemental and find out for yourself.

I honestly can't say enough fabulous things about Brigid Kemmerer and If you didn't catch me fangirling the first time, GO READ STORM!

NOW!!!

It's cool, I'll wait...

It's bizarre how quickly Michael grows on you, huh? He's so GRRRR in the beginning of Storm, it's heartbreaking seeing him how he is here :(
