I am officially a licensed driver!!!!!!
*happy dance*
*pelvic thrusts*
I even passed on my first try! My parents were thrown for a loop because they didn't even know I was taking lessons. Anyhoo, I get that everyone outside of NYC drives, but this is kind of a big deal for me. I take the subway everywhere but now I have the option of borrowing my father's car and going wherever I want!!
Oh yeah!!

COngratulations!!! So so happy for you!! :) :) In the first try? You rock girl! I passed on the fourth try :P :P I was a mess. Anxiety so big I couldn't think straight - but not because of the traffic, but because of the examinators - I was scared of them like hell :/ But I guess I was annoying enough and they let me pass in the fourth try because they didn't want to listen to my rambling anymore :D :D HA! Anyway, ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM Kristin! ;) ;)

DeleteYay! I think it's different in other countries - like Australia - where you have to go so much further to get to anywhere. Then cars are just so much more convenient than public transport. I quite like driving - and tend to sing non-stop from the moment I get in the car to the moment I get out, which is something you can't do on the subway. Well. I guess you can... but I wouldn't. My younger brother is finally going for his license - about four and a half years after all his friends. But it doesn't bother him too much because there's usually someone around to give him a lift!

DeleteCongrats on your licence! When I read "New York", I literally began to think "but isn't the subway...?" But it's completely understandable. I don't get why I have friends in their mid-twenties who don't have a licence - it's something that's incredibly handy to have. Let me guess... Road trip, what up?!
